BEDA Brisbane

Figjam and Co proudly participated in the Brisbane Economic Development Agency (BEDA) program, an initiative designed to accelerate the growth of innovative local businesses. Through the program, Figjam and Co gained access to expert mentors, strategic guidance, and industry connections that strengthened our capacity to scale and expand into new markets. The workshops and one-on-one support helped refine our business model, enhance our product development pathways, and open doors to valuable collaboration opportunities across Brisbane’s food and hospitality ecosystem. Our involvement in BEDA reinforced our commitment to growth, innovation, and showcasing Queensland-made products with impact.

Lilla Sports and Storytelling Festival

At Figjam and Co, we’re honoured to share our experience at the Sports and Storytelling Festival in Lilla — a powerful celebration of culture, connection, and community. Organised by the Watarrka Foundation, the festival brings people together through sport, shared stories, and the deep traditions of the region. We extend our sincere thanks to the Foundation for their leadership and commitment to creating meaningful, community-driven opportunities.

Jason Australia Day Message

QUT Graduate of the Month – October 2025

Jacob Davidson, Gunditjamara and Ngarrindjeri descendant, leads FigJam and Co, a 100% Indigenous-owned gourmet and bush-food business. Under his guidance, the company expanded native-condiment offerings, pioneered the commercial use of pigface and purslane, and grew its online and international presence — blending cultural heritage, sustainability, and innovation in every product.
